Rumored way back in January it wasn’t until yesterday that Gearbox officially announced a Collector’s Edition for their upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Capcom announced today a MASSIVE Collector’s Set to be released in celebration of Street Figher’s 25th Anniversary.
Included are 4 Games
- Street Fighter X Tekken (including all character and costume DLC)
- Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (including all costume DLC)
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Street Fighter III: Third Striek Online Edition

Namco Bandai have announced that Tales of Graces F will get a Day One Edition, it will be released in both Europe and Australia.
It will contain the following:
- Special Folded Box
- Hardback Artbook
- Original soundtrack – Physical Disc
- Making Of videos – Physical Disc
- Tales of Destiny 2 costumes – DLC
- Exclusive themes – DLC
It is currently set for release on the 31st August 2012

Today, 2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced that there will two limited edition sets for the upcoming game Borderlands 2. The two special editions offering varying amounts of collectible and in-game bonus items.
First up is the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition (£64.99 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC) which includes the following:
- authentic Marcus Kincaid bobblehead
- Inside the Vault: The Art & Design of Borderlands 2 hardbound book
- collectable sticker set
- map of Pandora
- digital comic download code
- bonus downloadable in-game digital content
last but no least there is the Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition (£99.99 on Xbox 360/PS3 or £74.99 on PC)
This beast of a set includes all content found in the Deluxe Vault, plus the following content:
- a collectable scaled replica of the red loot chests found throughout Pandora in Borderlands 2
- steelbook case
- Creatures of Pandora wide-format ID chart
- lithograph postcard set
- field notes from Sir Hammerlock
- cloth map of Pandora
- and a numbered certificate of authenticity
Pre-order any edition of the game from participating retailers to gain access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, allowing them to download the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter’s Relic and an all-new fifth character class – the Mechromancer.
Borderlands 2 will be available September 21.

343 Industries unveiled a Limited Edition for the upcoming Halo 4 to be released in North America on November 6th at $100 USD.
While not explicitly confirmed it does look like it will include a SteelBook or similar case for the game, other physical goodies include a “UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet” which includes armor schematics ship blueprints and other information., Also included are “exclusive” bonus videos including making-of content, expanded character stories as well as a 90 live-action series “Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn”.
Microsoft seems to be taking a page out of Activision’s book for most of the content included are load of bonus DLC including access to “three future competitive multiplayer map packs… available post-launch” which seems quite similar to the bonus content included with the Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition.
No official word yet on a European variant though if past Microsoft rreleases are any indication they will be nearly identical to the North American release.

Square Enix have announced that North America will get a Limited Edition release for Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance.
Titled as the Mark Of Mastery Edition, it contains the following:
- Hard cover 3DS case
- 12 art cards
- 5 AR cards – unlocks Dream Eaters
- Standard copy of the game bundled in a magnetic case
Released date is set for the 31st July 2012 with a RRP of $54.99.
