    The above is not however the ultra limited "Uber ME3 CE" still to be anounced.

    The uber edition following BioWare's forums is an ultra limited edition they were thinking of releasing, yet to be confirmed. They were thinking of adding a replica of the Normandy, among other exclusive items.

    The uber edition I think is just speculation. There was a forum post from BioWare entertaining the idea of a edition for the hardest of hard core collectors: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/to...ndex/4589520/1
    The comparison was to MW2 prestige edition... pointing out the cool functional night vision goggles. That leads me to think that the 'uber' part of the name is for the price and not necessarily the quantity available.

    Has anyone seen or heard anything more about this edition, or any other more expensive edition?

    I've pre-ordered this edition at GAME just in case no other edition is announced. I also believe that this CE is exclusive to the GAME group here in the UK, as I haven't spotted it on any of the other retailer's sites

    AFAIK, it's most certainly a GAME/gamestation exclusive in the UK.

    clues:

    #1 if you go to masseffect.bioware.com and select UK as your country, only GAME shows for preorder (alongside Origin, ofc...)

    #2 NO OTHER retailer (brick & mortar or online) has it in offer.

    #3 I asked ShopTo about this, here's their reply:

    ...which kinda sucks since we're paying a hefty, over the top 70GBP for this.
    for example, it costs 80 USD over at Gamestop USA (that's roughly 53 GBP). *sigh*

    Which is why I'm thinking of holding off and seeing if the price will drop (like the animus edition).

    Looks like the PC version of the CE has dropped back down to £59.99 at GAME.

    I've preordered in store and online for this. When ME2 came out, my local GAME stores didn't have enough CE to fulfill preorders and it was on a first come first served basis. I missed out and ended up paying over the odds for it on ebay after release... >.< Won't be making that mistake again.
