This looks very good, hope it has propper box and not the cheap ass one that came with the collectors edition of the last game .

    Add to wishlist

Here's a Kotaku article about it, where they say it will cost $99 in the States, so that means it will likely cost us £99.99 here in the UK...

LOL - Your likely right, especially at GAME.

Contents wise it looks good. When matze1975 gave us an ealry indication of the contents, I didn't think they would look this good.

Wow looks great! Definitely pre-ordering this one

  6. Javius:
A better image of the figure

It looks like the game disc slips into a pocket in the art book. I would prefer an actual case, but I guess they designed it to fit into the base of the statue.

Wow. You know how long I've been waiting for them to announce something for Arkham city!? Jesus. Finally! This looks very nice, however, I'm getting rather bored of the standard "collectible figurine" concept. It seems 90% of CE games now come with some type of statue or figurine. They're nice don't get me wrong, I just wish they'd come up with something "unique". I thought they were considering a Utility Belt replica? Now THAT would've been to die for!

I like it. I'll switch my standard pre-order this weekend to this Collector's Edition. However, i like it much more if they would includes a steelbook case in exchange for those digital contents really. So, yea--it looks good.

Also, any details on this statue? ....like heights and width?

Aussie sites also metion "Four collectible cards" as part of the collectors edition.

You must be the only one then. I think most collectors complain if the CE includes a bog standard Amaray game case, as it ruins the effect of the CE. I am glad that they aren't including a retail game case, and I wish more CE's would follow suit.

The Bioshock 2 CE wasn't as good as it could have been, and if they had've included the game disc inside an artwork book then it would have looked far nicer

In my opinion, game discs and soundtrack CD's should be hidden, and not contained in obvious Dvd / CD cases

  12. themidlandmaster:
Strongly disagree, I really hate it when the disc is inside a speicalist case. For example, the Arkam Asylum disc came in a special case, and it was really annoying.

I uch prefer the collectors edition to contian the game inside a normal case disc, but to hide the disc case within the collectors edition. The best game to do this was halo reach.

if it follows the modern warfare figure by kotobukiya, it'd be in 1/6 scale and made of hollow vinyl. and very well made.

if confirm that it is 1/6 scale. Then 1/6 is the equivalent of 8 inches tall?.

They made a modern Warfare figure? I wasn't aware of that. It wasn't part of any Collector's Edition I know of, right? 'Cause I have all the Call of Duty Collector editions.

From what I remember the official statue was packaged with MW2 in the UK in very limited quantity. I would have got the statue itself if they permitted it to be shipped to me, sadly no.

Get it while it's hotly priced

  17. gurpswoo1:
It comes in veteran package in the Europe.

As for Batman figurine, if it's of the same quality then it will indeed be very good.

  18. asiak75:
Ok Gurps, thanks I needed this...so disappointed with the Bartarang...so just to be sure, some say it will be hard plastic and some say it might be resin based. Can you by any chance confirm the one it will be and lets say compare it to some other statue/figure already out there?

    Thanks
