The Darkness II Limited Edition Preorder Upgrade
2K Games have announced that The Darkness II will come in a Limited Edition. The Limited Edition is a free (and automatic) upgrade for anyone who pre-orders The Darkness II.
The Darkness II Limited Edition includes:
- Custom artwork illustrated by Marc Silvestri
- Free digital download of The Darkness Origins Volume 1 and 2 comics
Exclusive In-Game Items:
- Alternate darkling outfit – “Crazy Abdul”
- Two character ability upgrades:
- Gourmet Hearts: provides bonus for eating hearts
- Relic Hunter: locates collectible items in the world
I’m not sure if there is a special Steelbook or anything like that. It sounds as if there is only some digital Content for the Limited Edition.
I expected more from this release, DLC only.
The custom artwork might be worth it though. First press editions can be worth quite alot.
I loved the first Darkness game... I was planning to let this one wait until the price dropped but with an LE... even if it's just a first edition DLC makes it a must buy for me.
Gamesonly.at is selling a Steelbook Edition for all 3 systems

I just went to do my shopping in my local Tesco, and I spotted a staff member in the entertainment aisle putting out pre-order cases for the Limited Edition!

lol, I didn't realise the LE includes a Metal Slip Case!
I thought it was just going to be a cardboard digi-pak!
Saw it on the shelves at EB and I was quite surprised!
Maybe you'll get lucky.

Now then, question is, once I get it, do I keep it sealed or open it to find out it's number?
SO lucky Raasclark! Very jealous! xx
Thank you, can't believe my luck. I didn't even think my comment was that great either.
"I would put this next to my Gizmo toy and recreate the Gremlins film." lol
Congrats Raasclark
It looks like the "Win nothing from any competition curse" is still gong strong for me. At least it's consistent.
