Just a few hours ago, Ubisoft has announced details of the various Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Collector’s Edition for Europe and North America. The game is scheduled for release October 29 in North America and November 1 in Europe, on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Wii U and Windows PC.
Assassin’s Creed IV will have four different editions for Europe depending on which method consumers use to pre-order and purchase the game. A proper release announcement for a North American Edition is yet to come.
Now fasten your seatbelts, take a deep breath and have a look at what you can expect and how much of you hard earned coins this is going to cost you.
Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag – Black Chest Edition (exclusive to Uplay)
The Blag Chest Edition includes everything a true Assassin’s Creed fan could desire. This masterpiece will cost you €149.95 EUR/£119.99 GBP for consoles and €129.95 EUR/£109.99 GBP for PC. It will come in a collector’s box with the following content:
- 55cm-high diorama of Captain Edward Kenway leading the charge on his ship’s bow, the Jackdaw
- steelbook in the colours of the Golden Age of Piracy
- high quality artbook including artworks that inspired the game
- The Official Game Soundtrack

Ubisoft has announced that there will be four different editions for their upcoming game Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The game will be released for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 23 August 2013.

SCEA has announced a “First Edition” pre-order only release, for their upcoming game Beyond: Two Souls, meaning that all pre-ordered copies of Beyond: Two Souls are the Limited Edition. Sony also has announced that the game will hit store shelves on 8 October 2013.
So far this pre-order initiative is only available in the US and Canada through Gamestop/ EB-Games Stores for $59.99 USD/CAD but most likely other countries and stores will follow soon.
The Limited Edition of Beyond: Two Souls is packed in an exclusive Steelbook and includes:
- Extensive Behind The Scenes Video Features
- Soundtrack
- Dynamic PS3 Theme
- PSN Avatar Pack
