The Capcom Blog recently unveiled details about the upcoming Zombrex Edition of Dead Rising 2 which will be exclusive to North America.
Available for both Xbox 360 and PS3, the Zombrex edition will come in a SteelBook case and includes a plethora of Zombrex branded goodies including a syringe pin, prescription pad and Zombie Outbreak Pamphlet among other things. It of course also includes more traditional CE bonuses such a hard cover Art Book and a movie disc with a full-length feature film as well as a making-of documentary.
Slated for release on September 28th, the Zombrex Edition will run you about $80.
Personally I think this is a much cooler CE than the Outbreak Pack recently announced for Europe, though I see it more as a mea culpa from Capcom to North America or not giving us a CE release for the first Dead Rising while Europe got the SteelBook.
Recently some photos have appeared online for an upcoming Limited Collector’s Edition of Crysis 2. Apparently the LCE will be available in Europe on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 (as well as the PC) for a price of 158€.

a 20 cm wide Prophet statue
a 176-page premium art book
immediate access to higher ranks and unlockable items
an exclusive #2 Dogtag
a SCAR hologram
SCAR Camouflage and additional content.
A SteelBook case with “unique” painting
Release date was listed as simply “November 2010” we will post more details we we get them.
Gamestop recently posted up a listing for a Borderlands Game of the Year Edition Strategy Guide with a release date of September 9th. Soon after CVG posted up this information the link was removed. Kotaku contacted Gearbox for more information and simply received a “no comment” response.
The listing for the guide supposedly made mention of including strategy for the 3 DLC packs so its most likely that any Game of the Year Edition release will simply pack in all the additional content with the original game.
Capcom has announced a European Exclusive Special Edition release for Dead Rising 2 called the “Outbreak Pack”.

GameStop recently listed a Collector’s Edition of the upcoming Star Wars The Force Unleashed II. Slated for release for both Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 26th this CE will cost just under $80 and includes the following content:

Ralph McQuarrie concept “Deak Starkiller” skin
Lightsaber crystal
Mimobot USB Designer Drive Preloaded with Bonus Content
Starkiller 2GB Flash Drive designed by Mimobot

With bonus content being included by way of a USB flash drive, here’s hoping it does fall victim to the same problem that plagued the Splinter Cell Conviction CE.

It seems severalUKretailers are listing an Assassin’s Creed II Complete Edition for release on June 4th. What makes it “Complete” is apparently the inclusion of the two DLC packs and the secret location that were previously only available to Uplay subscribers.
I’m guessing this is probably the same thing as the previously rumored “Game of the Year” Edition.
