Rockstar Games have announced that Max Payne 3 will receive a Special Edition which will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. They also have unveiled the first details of the Special Edition which will include the following content for sure:
- A copy of Max Payne 3.
- 10” tall Collectible Max Payne Statue created in a collaboration between TriForce and Rockstar Games.
- Series of game-inspired Original Still Life Art Prints that depict some of Max Payne’s inner demons and vices.
- Copper and brass-plated iron, bullet-shaped Bullet Keychain featuring a screw-off back.
- Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable multiplayer characters for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, including fan favorites from the original Max Payne and Max Payne 2 like Max Payne from Max Payne 2, Mona Sax and Vladimir Lem.Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer that includes the Hammerhead Auto Shotgun, G9 Grenade Launcher and Molotov cocktail.
- Max Payne 3 Official Soundtrack featuring the game’s instrumental score.
The Edition is already available for pre-oder and only until January 15th, 2012 while supplies last. Retailing for $99.99/£99.99/€109.99

Futureshop in Canada seems to be getting lots and lots of exclusive SteelBooks recently. The latest of which is a SteelBook that is included along side pre-orders of Zelda Skyward Sword for the Wii.
This is a G1 sized case and apparently it will ONLY be included with pre-orders placed between October 26th and November 20th. Also it seems that it’s only included with the standard edition of the game not the Limited Edition bundle with the Gold Wii Remote.
Sadly Futureshop does not ship outside of Canada, which is a shame as this would make an excellent addition to any Zelda fan’s collection.

Capcom North Amercia have announced that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will receive a Special Edition.
It will contain the following:
- Steelbook with exclusive art
- Stylized foil sleeve
- Umbrella Security Service embroidered patch
- Spec Ops Field Unit embroidered patch
- Eight bonus in game weapons
Capcom have yet to released promotional pictures of the Special Edition nor any pricing, however they have confirmed the released date of 20th March 2012.
Currently the Special Edition is exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360 with the PC version yet to even have a release date.

The London Movie Comic and media Expo and Memorabilia London is starting tomorrow and will end on the 30th, both will run side by side and buying en entry ticket for one will give access to both.
There will several previews and playable demos of up and coming games such as The Darkness 2, Zelda Skyward sword and final Fantasy Xiii-2. A full list of games can be found here: http://www.londonexpo.com/gamesexpo/
There will also be tournaments held by Pqube for Arcana Heart 3 and BlazBlue Continuum Shift, the winner of each day will receive a very special Arcana Heart 3 or BlazBlue merchandise pack – exclusive to the MCM event (not available in stores). The above is only a very small amount of what to expect, there will signing and panel events for many books, comics , artist and game designers. There will also guess apperances such as the voice actor for Altaïr in Assassin creed, cast from Xenoblade and Dragon age. Assassin’s Creed Revelations will get a Black Edition. Well it is not that great as the one for Assassin’s Creed II but it is also much cheaper. The Black Edition of Assassin’s Creed will come in a lavishly designed, handmade wooden box including unique Assassin’s Creed metallic branding.
The Edition is available at Gamesonly.at for PC, PS3 & Xbox 360 at a price of €49.99/€59.99 – The PS3 Game also includes Assassin’s Creed I.

Square-Enix have announced that the two Limited Edition for Final Fantasy Xiii-2 will be the Colletor’s Edition and Crystal Edition.
The Collector’s Edition will include the following:

- Artwork book “The Art of Final Fantasy XIII-2”, featuringartwork across the production.

Arc System soft and the publisher Pqube have announced that there will be an extremely limited Manga Edition of BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2, restricted to 200 units it will contained.
- BlazBlue: Phase Zero – Enhance version fully translated to English with higher quality paper and an increase in size
- Chibi Ragna Keyring – exclusive to the Manga Edition
