Killer Instinct: Pin Ultimate Edition Available For Pre-Order, NA

The Free-2-Play launch title Killer Instinct for the Xbox One will get a special retail edition called Pin Ultimate Edition. So far the edition has only been announced for North America and retails exclusively through the Microsoft Store for $ 59.99 USD. Unfortunately you will only get a Digital Download Code for the game from Xbox Live and no disc.

The Pin Ultimate Edition was designed by Penny Arcade and comes packed in a premium case that unfolds into a pin display. It includes the following additional content:

• First two pins (Jago and Killer Instinct 3D Logo) from a collection of 16: Each character will get its own pin and the official Killer Instinct page will reveal surprise pins, every month until the end of the season, that can be earned through your community and in-game efforts
• All Season 1 characters (8)
• Season pass for all costumers (8) and accessory packs (16)
• Early access to all Season 1 content
• Original Killer Instinct Classic Arcade game

Tales Of Symphonia Chronicles Collector’s Edition Announced, North America

Today, Namco Bandai have revealed at New York Comic Con that a Collector’s Edition for the HD re-release of Tales of Symphonia is heading to North America. The Collector’s Edition of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will be limited to 1500 15,000 units with a price and further retail information yet to be announced.

Update: according to the Namco Bandai Store the Edition is not limted to 1500 units but to 15,000. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!

The announcement picture below shows an own variant of the Japanese LaLaBit Market Limited Edition with a note that the appearance of each item in the NA version may be changed without prior notice. The Japanese LaLaBit Market Limited Edition of Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack comes in a box drawn by animation studio Ufotable and contains the following:

• 5x Chibi-Kyun Chara
• Light Novel
• 1x 10th Anniversary Greeting Card

While the North American version is supposed to come with the following:

• 5x Chibi-Kyun Chara
• Light Novel
• Soundtrack

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will contain remakes of Tales of Symphonia and its sequel Dawn of the New World, the pack will be available exclusively for PS3 on March 31, 2014.

South Park: The Stick Of Truth Grand Wizard Edition Revealed

After Ubisoft acquired the game South Park: The Stick of Truth, the release date was delayed again and pushed to later in 2013. Now the wait has ended. Today, Obsidian Entertainment  and Ubisoft have announced a release date for their upcoming game South Park: The Stick of Truth. The game is hitting stores on December 10th in North America and December 13th in Europe. Along with the release date Ubisoft also announced that there will be a special Grand Wizard Edition of the game. The Grand Wizard Edition will be available to pre-order exclusively at Amazon and Ubi’s Uplay store.

You can start pre-ordering the Grand Wizard Edition of South Park: The Stick of Truth on September 30th at the Uplay store for a price that’s yet to be announced with the following content:

• Grand Wizard Cartman figure from Kidrobot – A 6″ (~15 cm) replica figure of Grand Wizard Cartman equipped with his Stick of Authority: The Grand Wizard Cartman figure is not available in stores and can only be found in the Grand Wizard Edition.
• Kingdom of South Park Map – The entire town of South Park has been mapped for the first time in South Park history.
• The Stick of Truth Ultimate Fellowship Pack – Unlock the ultimate fellowship with the one pack to rule them all! FIFA 14 Player & Sports Edition available exclusively through Pop-up store at la Gaîté Lyrique, Paris (France)

Ahead of the September 26 FIFA 14 release date, Elektronic Arts have decided to offer a pre-sale three days before the official launch. So today, September 23 at 16 o’ clock & 20 o’ clock Fifa fans have a once in a life time chance to snag up one of two super limited packs at Paris. Both packs will be sold at la Gaîté Lyrique and the funds will be fully donated to the Cé Ke Du Bonheur association. Those lucky ones who managed to get one of the Editions will also have the privilege to attend the launch party of the game along with stars like Wiz Khalifa, Kavinsky, Blaise Matuidi, Soprano, Breakbot, Orelsan, Michaël Youn, Pierre Ménès and many others.

Player Edition

The Player Edition of FIFA 14 is limited to 100 units and includes the game FIFA 14 and Monster MVP Carbon Headphones for € 249 EUR (~$335 USD)

Sports Edition

The Sports Edition of FIFA 14 comes slightly cheaper for only € 89 EUR (~120 USD) and is limited to 500 units. It includes the game FIFA 14, an EA Cap and an EA T-Shirt.

The Editions are both available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Dark Souls II Collector’s Edition & Black Armour Edition Available To Pre-Order

Today Namco Bandai have announced that there will be two Editions for their upcoming game Dark Souls II. First of all the Dark Souls Collector’s Edition which has all the core basics of a great collector’s edition and the Black Armour Pre-order Edition.

Both the Dark Souls II Collector’s Edition and Black Armour Edition will be out on march 14, 2014 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Dark Souls II for PCs will launch shortly after in 2014.

Collector’s Edition

The Collector’s Edition will be available for $119.99 USD/$169.95 AUD and includes the following:

• Black Armour Edition
  • Metal Case
  • Game Soundtrack CD composed by famed Japanese composer Motoi Sakuraba
• 12″ (~30 cm) Premium Quality Warrior Knight Figurine weighing in at nearly 16 ounces (~ 450 grams)
• Authentic Cloth Map of the Dark Souls II game world
• Hardbound Art-Book – Filled with never-before-seen images created by the talented artists at game developer FromSoftware

Black Armour Edition

At no addition cost the Black Armour Edition features a metal case that contains both the game disc and the official game soundtrack. As a first edition, as it is called, all versions of the Black Armour Edition from the initial production are the first edition. Later releases will not include the Metal Case or Soundtrack.

Currently pre-orders are only available for those from the US at Gamestop and Australia at EbGames / JBHifi

Good news for art-collectors and  The Last of Us fans. After the amazing artbook that most fans undoubtedly have in their bookshelf, now is the chance to have this amazing art hanging on your wall!
