i don't understand the skyhigh prices for the mirror edge steelbook, granted it was exclusively available but steelbook the company requires a minimum order in the thousands for retailers etc to make it viable for both parties..so definitely there are thousands that were made...i looked into steelbook the company and these days they won't manufacter if it's less than 4000 so this is just my rant as far as why is this one the grail when it comes to steelbooks?..because we "think" there rare?..since somebody started the rumor it is and took off from there?

Agree with that... much harder to see a Saints Row 2 or ACII come up but I actually like the Mirror's Edge Steel and would still like one but waiting for the right price one day!! LOL

ordered early september pforce have had it at their depo for a few days and got the letter today, i chose the cheapest shipping as i was in no rush for it to come, the vat imort fee worked out the same as the mid level amazon.com shipping/custom fee, but they also chuck a clearence fee of ?10.50 on as well.
so in the futre i think i will always use mid level shipping from amazon.com

no, i dint think that was an opption at amazon.com? i thought they declared the cost whatever? i stupodly thought import fee was relevant to delivery speed i.e processing channels so no rush i chose basic thinking no more fees, t has worked out to ?72 in total now, wich is not great as they are on ebay from uk sellers ?68 free shipping, but i dont mind as i feel the product has a fair asking price.

what gets me is you get no tracking on basic at all, so i heard nothing until the import fee letter came through the door today.

i had an eta of october the 18th, and when i have used mid level shipping before eta was 16 days and it turned up in 4 days from dispatch, so i think they are quite prompt when it comes to shipping.

worst case, amazon are not a bad company to have a lost parcel with, if that makes sense they will sort you out.

Ah, sorry :) Total cost was approx ?50 using the cheapest shipping method. They didn't charge any import fees upfront, and despite me marking it as a gift, I was charged ?25.30 once it reached customs :( So ?75 total. No idea if it's region free yet as I've yet to open the digipack inside, but I'd assume so.

Yeah, they were definitely worth the wait. I completely forgot all about them. XD Saw the parcel when I got home and I was like "wtf is this...?" :rotf: Was a nice surprise! :D Not impressed with the box though. :S It's got that horrible material that they use on ring boxes! >.< Makes me shudder just thinking about it! >.<

That Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm game is actually a limited steelbook edition.

And while it's not obvious, it does appear to be complete with the art cell on top of it and the two cards in the pile of cards (Hard to see)

I'm pretty confident its worth the 4th most, assuming the AC CE's are complete. Something I will find out only once it's arrived :shrug:

Although the "YAKAZA KENZAN" is close as it's somewhat difficult to find that Yakuza game here in the states because it was only released in Japan and thus must be imported.

I just got my Connor the Hunter statue from Ozgameshop and the bow was broken off :(
They have usually been very good in terms of packaging but this is probably the biggest thing i've bought from them and it came in a box that was about 5-6cm too short and had a strip of cardboard and tape over top to cover the gap, and the actual statue box was wrapped in tissue paper. Has anyone had anything similar happen dealing with them?

Grainger games are one of if not the worst retailers in the UK imo, they not only ship delicate items in bags but they lie aswell.

To be honest, even without the lanyards/badges I still got a pretty amazing deal on everything and the seller never stated what all was really included.

Just be aware, they changed the gameplay mechanics of the game significantly IMO from 1 to 2

A lot of things are the same but missions aren't so repetitive in 2. Still fairly repetitive but 1 was kind of bad in that sense if you can't stand repetitiveness. Never bothered me though.

Last one I picked up was Assassin's Creed III... sold everything but the statue and later I even sold the game when I was done with it, ended up breaking even with a free statue ;)


The next few in getting will be Bioshock Infinite Songbird Edition, Metal Gear Rising Revengence Collectors edition (with plasma lamp/US version), and then God of War Acsension Collectors Edition.


Apparently the Revengence Japan Collectors edition comes with a Unique Play Arts Raiden Action Figure... but I have never liked the looks of Play Arts figures (probably because I like statues better then action figures) so the Lamp is better for me.

i like how xbox packages there controllers..very display worthy..the sony dualshock packaging is dull and nothing special..at least in the US.
