It is the Chinese version. Almost every statue from Japan has a Chinese knock of... but the knock offs are decent.

I have a Ichigo (from Bleach) statue that is a Chinese statue, but it is an original design I believe, but I like it a lot and it is decent quality. I actually did not like any of the designs of the official ones.

The ending of that arc is absolutely epic. You see all the captains and visords fight... even Head Captian Yamamoto!

Well it is the same mask... just the stipes are black instead of dark red. I actually think the normal face head option is the best face I have seen for an Ichigo statue. I am going to do a vid on it at some point (just have not gotten to it). The faces on the official ones look bad to me (not right). And almost all are just PVC figures and not hard resin or polystone.

The four things that stand out as off to me is the tassels' placement/length, the bulky hair and the right strand being completely curved instead of curving at the end.

but like flatout said, Chinese knockoffs have gone a long way with most of them looking pretty much identical to the original. And hey, it's a win-win situation, if it's a fake you get your money back from ebay and if it's real...it's real. :D


Someone in China should do a Pagan Min statue since I doubt they could make it any worse than the official one (yes I'm still salty about that).

First off, this here is the original hand drawn sketches by lead concept artist Robb Waters that were directly used to create the plasmid training film in the game.

Now Robb Waters being one of the more traditional artists in his field, has an old fashioned process in which he would create an overall design sketch using graphite on tracing paper that he would later scan and finish digitally to be used in game.

I wondered about the page as well (not sure if all of them had it or not). I had it in one before but it was missing the card and lanyard. Not sure the pics belong in the kit (was not in there when I sent it as far as I know)? For some reason a lot of these kits are always missing something or another.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the kit items have just been separated from their kits over the years, but I rarely see one that includes all the items I have. I actually bought two so I could consolidate them to make the one I had.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the kit items have just been separated from their kits over the years, but I rarely see one that includes all the items I have. I actually bought two so I could consolidate them to make the one I had.

I'd be happy to scan the page for you, StayFree. Can't guarantee the best quality as my printer is about 4 years old and I got it for $40 on Black Friday. :p

I couldn't tell you tbh. I didn't receive it first. My GF bought me it so she had already opened and checked everything first. She said the "badge" had fallen out, but that was about it. But yeah everything had survived. I was really pleased. It survived the journey from the manufacturers to Gamestop and then being with whichever carrier had been nominated to destroy them by Gamestop. Lol I think it was Yodel! >.<

I received two - one for me and one for a member here - opened both as they were not sealed and I'd heard the horror stories and it was a right unholy mess....

All the items in the top half of the box were lying in a heap - literally a pile - on top of the stuff in the bottom tray... Worse still... The eagles wing was chipped in the one edition and completely broken off its base in mine :( :(

I repacked the one for the us member here and gently put a cushion of bubbie wrap between the two trays to hold everything in place before shipping...

Mines gone back to Gamestop for a replacement though they were at pains to point out they couldn't even begin to guarantee it wouldn't be worse.... :suicide:

I received two - one for me and one for a member here - opened both as they were not sealed and I'd heard the horror stories and it was a right unholy mess....

All the items in the top half of the box were lying in a heap - literally a pile - on top of the stuff in the bottom tray... Worse still... The eagles wing was chipped in the one edition and completely broken off its base in mine :( :(

I repacked the one for the us member here and gently put a cushion of bubbie wrap between the two trays to hold everything in place before shipping...

Mines gone back to Gamestop for a replacement though they were at pains to point out they couldn't even begin to guarantee it wouldn't be worse.... :suicide:

I watched a couple unboxings and it seems this is very common sadly. The vids I saw had no damage though so they got lucky. Sorry to hears yours got messed up.

The first time I open my DA:I CE it's really a mess inside, but luckily, nothing's broken... The statues were all over the steelbook and I was shocked that there was no scratch or dent on it.

Yeah it's a nice CE when everything is not in a heap. Lol I feared the worst after hearing the other horror stories and seeing the state of some other people's editions! >.< Thankfully I didn't have to see it in a state! ^^ As I said in another thread I quite like this CE. :D

The mug is awesome! ^^ I had help with getting that. Lol treated myself and my GF to one each! ^^ She was really pleased with her's too. ^^ Was a nice surprise. I also bought her the Limited Art Book from Bioware store. It came on Saturday and I'm kicking myself for not ordering one for myself too!!! >.< We do have the Inquisitors guide book on order though. :D £63 each from Amazon, so am looking forward to those getting here. :D

Lol I had to try and make it look nice after all the bad press it has received from disgruntled collector's receiving damaged editions! >.<

My GF had a slight issue with her's. She was missing one of the lock picks from her set, but GameStop offered her a £20 refund, so she was fine with it. XD She said if she was that arsed she could make the missing piece. Lol Thankfully no breakages again though! ^^

I hope your replacement arrives with no issues. Would suck to have another damaged one. :( I reckon they're prob getting all the damaged ones back and trying to make good CEs from the damages before they send them out again. One thing I wish the CE had was a Piece of Perspex across the top layer to hold the stuff in. Would have looked very presentable then when opened even if things did still shift slightly. Also, with regards to the badge, with a little bit of effort, but whilst being gentle ofcourse, the badge will hold itself in place, if you push it right back into your space there are little notches in the plastic toward the back of the spot where it lives where it will fit nice and snug into. ^^ Just incase you or anybody else hadn't noticed. :D

Did you read the quote you quoted? ;) Yeah, it was definitely done by Prima - and so was the Zelda Boxset (as I mentioned), both came very well packaged so PRIMA get's two thumbs up, not Amazon. At least your amazon sent the Prima box in another box, mine just sent it as it was with the label and descripton of what it is on the box and everything. :facepalm:

I've told them that it is inadequate packaging for limited edition games, but they still do it. International customers get it worse as GAME always skimps in packaging for international customers to keep the shipping cost down. I personally advise anybody who wants to order internationally from GAME to ask a UK member to forward for you instead and save yourself the headache.

While we're on the subject of shitty pack jobs, I wasn't best pleased with how treehouse stores packaged my Dragon Age art book, so they have an email incoming too... -_-

As for Treehouse Stores, their packing is usually pretty good, but when it fails, it fails hard and the item is usually really damaged. However, I've found them to always be excellent in replacing the damaged item for free (and letting you keep the damaged item, too!).

I still haven't found better packaging for shipment than when I received my Legend of Zelda collector's edition guide box set. That was some sturdy cardboard and padding they used!

Yes... GAME's packaging is pretty bad, most of the time. Bought a few times from them, and ha nightmares too. Like what you said, it is better to have a UK member to forward it to you.

Whereas for TreeHouse... I too sent an email to them about my Dragon Age Art Book. To TreeHouse's defense, typically they do a good job in packaging. But this time the way that they pack the Dragon Age LE art book fails hard.

I received mine in a box, so i thought great job. Then i noticed on one side of the box was torn up. What TreeHouse did was placing this huge heavy book, into a box that is too small to fit the book.... :facepalm:

Its funny you ask that, my first picture was going to be a comparison shot since this thing is HUUUUUGE! It's easily 30% bigger than the Witcher 2 Dark Edition (I use that because its the same shape/color). It's not "Batman Arkham Origins CE (US)"-big but its definitely the size of a large CE.

Unfortunately even after posting that I was going to take some shots of it, I fell asleep with the box (and my camera) sitting next to me while I was working on something else... if noone else does, I guess you'll have to wait til tonight, sorry :this:

The only way to get one if these boxed editions from game in good condition is to order four together so they ship them in a box....

Because I brought a hppdie and waited 4 days to pay so I could combine shipping g on another 2 ac items that he was selling, although I didn't comminicate this with him and o don't recall either of us communicated much although it was probably a year ago so he decided (whether he was right or not is not my place to say) that after I paid for the item he would call me a non paying bidder and block me, well at least I got the items and Meg has been helpful in the past with helping me get a few things from him
