My AC IV collection continues..

The Crystal Cube Vial from the game. I found the price tag a bit hefty but didn't want to wait after they slapped the "limited" tag on it..

Looks high quality though, made of 100% acrylic. The liquid in the middle is also real. That adds to the quality of this piece I feel.

It actually didn't come with a bookmark. It was just a ribbon that is used as a bookmark within the book and it also came with a poster of Alduin's wall. I think it's the first time I have ever seen a ribbon bookmark listed as an item included with a guide book. XD

Watchdogs would be a great start!

I'm picking up Titanfall currently but I'd really like for them to release just how "limited" their run is. If its a lot then I'll cancel my Pre-Order at GS and pick it up down the road when its cheaper. Plus its not really a good CE since you don't get a steelbook with it ;)

I cringe every time I see these because part of me wants them so bad and the other part knows I'd be killed as I brought them through the door...

To answer your question, all 3 selling as a group could probably fetch ~$1500 or so at least I'd imagine. For whatever reason these Zelda standees sell for SO much. There was a guy offering the Zelda Skyward Sword one on CL recently for $600 and I asked him a day later if he still had it and he had sold it. Also saw one on Ebay for $1,400 (though not sure if it sold for that).

The little GS ones (like I have) from ALBW have been going for ~$100-$150 or so.

I went there to buy ACIV Black Flag limited edition for the XBOX360 because of the 49,99$ pricetag I heard lately. There were no price on the Ps3/Xbox360 game except one that had the pricetag.

I went to the cashier and told me the game was back at 99,99$ but since the pricetag was at 49,99$, he called the manager to see if he could let me have it at this price. He accepted and because of the mistake, I got an additionnel 10$ of the game for a total of 39.99$ for the big box. Talk about getting it for peanuts :P

Yup, the box was a little damaged on one side (the outer wrapper has a slight rip in it) and even though they have a mint CE still at another store down the street, I prefer the deal in this case. I just asked for a 10% "open/damaged box" discount which they will apply sometimes. That and some credit and got it for a steal! ;)

Also, definitely want to try these things out with my brother's RC Helicopters, shame they don't have shootable missiles though!

I should of asked for that discount. The one I got has the usual "gamestop wear and tear" on it. It was still sealed, so I didn't complain at all since I know I'll be opening the Plane sooner or later.

So I got my Tomb Raider Definitive Edition early, and I'm certainly not going to complain about that! :D I also talk about the whole idea of re-releasing last gen games for the 8th gen consoles to have more parity with their basically 8th gen PC versions.

I actually made the $40 point myself! haha I think it would sell far better that way. The artbook is basically just cool packaging and nothing more. It's the same packaging as the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Hitman Trilogy first print. There's very little to it. The game has a real artbook, so I'd recommend that. I'd also recommend that you return it for a PS4 copy--if you have a PS4--as 60 fps vs 30 fps is a pretty big difference.

Yeah, I really like the reversible cover too. ^o^ Didn't know it had a reversible cover either until I had it in hand. lol

I really enjoyed the game. ^o^ I would recommend it. It was the first JRPG I played on the 360. I bought it way back at launch. Back in the days when it didn't bother me to spend 45GBP for a disk in a box. XD There have been quite a few decent JRPGs out for the 360. :D Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata and Infinite Undiscovery. Just a few I can think of off my head that I got round to playing. :D

Yeah, mine was all cracked on the one corner. :( Was gutted. Got a feeling it won't be replaced, but I need to see if the other one I got for my GF is damaged first before they get an email from me. There was no impact damage on the outside of the book and sleeve, so it wasn't apparent until it was opened. >.<

Just got a new gaming laptop! Really for work but i wanted something that could play new gaems as well. Been trying it out the past few days and for the price the performance is amazing.... I can play Skyrim at all Ultra settings.

Saved over $300 from the new sale price and around $700 ff of retail (but they never sell for retail).

you can but the only problem would be that you have to make sure the graphic card it comes with can run on a windows 7. otherwise you would be shooting youself in the foot :facepalm:

I actually was getting a new one with a single GeForce 755M from Lenovo's website when i saw this one with the dual graphics cards for the same price (actually I saved $20 and the one I got is still a brand new laptop). Technically on paper this one should have 80% more graphics power then the single 755M. Like i said I have tried Skyrim and it can run that on the highest possible settings at 60fps so that is good enough for me.

First, just because you have the right to downgrade a Windows 8 Pro machine to Windows 7 doesn't mean running the older OS on newer hardware will be problem-free. HP, for example, warns that it hasn't tested all of its Windows 8 hardware with Windows 7. So the company says there's no guarantee you'll be able to download the drivers you need to run your Windows 7 system properly.

Well for $930 you could get or build a monster of a gaming desktop. But for me I need and want a laptop, but they are always far more expensive comparatively.

Also I needed the laptop to make money with (my old one died for good this last time... could not even restore it), but I figured since I was getting a new one anyways I would look into getting one that I could game on as there are always a few PC games that interest me but I could never try them. Really was just looking for something to play things like League of Legends on full settings on and games like Torchlight 2. Funny thing is my old Dell Insprion 1525 with integrated intel graphics could play those games... LOL played actually quite well at mid-low settings. Torchlight 2 played at very low fps but still worked... really it was unplayable though. But looking into something for those games turned into finding the IdeaPad and then I had to have the best one... lol. So now I can play new games on high settings.


I even download Assassins Creed Black Flag to try on this, plays really well on high settings at 1080p. Can't go to all the highest settings one everything on that one though...

When I used it, I just had it boot to the desktop, and that was it. I never really got the Metro interface since I wasn't actually using a tablet and having access to my files was a nice thing.

Most people dislike it... although it could be said about every new OS that MS comes out with. Although it could be argued this one has gotten more hate for it then ones in the past. I just do not like not having the old start button. But i have gotten to the point where I can easily navigate it now.

Seems everything MS does is just stupid... like their vision for the XBox One for example... the DRM and always online crap. Plus the OS for the XB1 is just like Windows 8.

I just do not like not having the old start button. But i have gotten to the point where I can easily navigate it now.

Windows 8... it took me 20 minutes to try to find out where the control panel was... and I had to use google just to find out how to find it. I'm sure once you get used to it's interface it's ok, but fuck that I rather use windows 7. I mean most things that are out can still run on windows 7, so why should I get 8?

Really the 2 things that irk me are then lack of the start button and the way is bundles tbs together. I actually hate the tabs thing more... when I open a new window in firefox and then click on the old window I have to got back down and hover over the firefox tb until the multiple ones pop up above it and re-select the other window. So. Dumb.

Yeah somehow they made their OS less user-friendly which is dumb. The actual OS underneath the GUI is great but I would have to heavily modify it for my use and do not see it worth the effort yet

Lol... yeah for the price that you get those specs for you cannot beat it.

I probably will just endure it... as I said I am mostly used to it now and have it set up so that it is not that bad. Really do not feel like dealing with installing windows 7 and re-doing all my installs and possibly running into issues.

Well for $930 you could get or build a monster of a gaming desktop. But for me I need and want a laptop, but they are always far more expensive comparatively.

Also I needed the laptop to make money with (my old one died for good this last time... could not even restore it), but I figured since I was getting a new one anyways I would look into getting one that I could game on as there are always a few PC games that interest me but I could never try them. Really was just looking for something to play things like League of Legends on full settings on and games like Torchlight 2. Funny thing is my old Dell Insprion 1525 with integrated intel graphics could play those games... LOL played actually quite well at mid-low settings. Torchlight 2 played at very low fps but still worked... really it was unplayable though. But looking into something for those games turned into finding the IdeaPad and then I had to have the best one... lol. So now I can play new games on high settings.


I even download Assassins Creed Black Flag to try on this, plays really well on high settings at 1080p. Can't go to all the highest settings one everything on that one though...

Yea as far as running LoL is seems it does not take much for a game like that... but t was made that way to get to the biggest audience and it is getting old.

But he reason to have a laptop like I do now is for future games that come out you will never be able to even try them, in just a couple years things will come out that I will need to be on low setting to run and your laptop could not even download... lol (actually that is the way it is now for my old laptop and possibly yours as well... cannot even start new games even if the are not hardware demanding).

Fair enough, I've got my FF7 roster (Tifa, Sephiroth, Aeris, Cloud, Barret, RedXIII, Yuffie - though don't think I have a Vincent or a Cid or Cait Sith?), and if I remember right I may still have a Vivi and Zidane from FF9. They're not statues per se though, they're more like poseable action figures. Not really sure where they all are though as most of my stuff is still packed or in storage.

I wasn't really planning on even getting FFXIII until I got XIII-2 for dirt cheap and really liked the quality of the CE. I'm definitely more of a fan of the old-school FF's. Didn't really care for X as much and never played another one after that except the kajillion remakes of the older ones.

I'd say to give it another chance. These are arcade games, so they're not going to have the in depth modes and big focus on story of something like Zeonic Front or Encounters in Space, but the gameplay and mechanics are extremely solid and satisfying. This definitely appeals to fans of arcade fighting games first and foremost, though, so if that's not you, then it may just simply not be up your alley.

The print is super awesome. :D Had never seen one before, so am very pleased to have it. ^o^ I'm going to see whether I can get anymore info from NoA regarding it and see if there is any info they can give regarding numbers and such... o.0 Don't expect to hear back from them regarding it, but worth a try. :D
