Sorry worded that kinda wrong, the thick map (paper) that is in all current copies is the premium map, the "cloth" one, which isn't actually cloth, after all the first batch is sold, a second batch is going to be released with thinner paper maps... Or at least, that's what is supposed to happen :) xx

Yeah, Xzone is local shop and my favourite. It's for PC, PS3, Xbox360 for price of standard version of the game. It comes in nice thick slipcase. This edition was sold on pre-orders. Now they have just regular edition with map.

Animus Edition! The packaging is quite weird. If you prop it up on a table, the design of the box is actually slanted.

The encyclopaedia is wonderful though. Easily as good or if not better than Skyrim CE's Artbook.

The PS3 version also comes with free download/version of AC1 and discounts on the other 2 games.

It should work out cheaper for you when you go through checkout.

DVD.co.uk actually remote the Value Added Tax for non-UK customers. In other words, it wont be 119 GBP but something lower.

Friends and contacts in Spain, Italy and UK. eBay for others. you can't really find them by simply typing steelbooks. You need to scroll through 100s of listings.

The exception being Rage Anarchy Edition Steelbook version Sealed, I got from DJ dream. So happy I got this, it is one of must have items and is very rare.

The logo i believe is debossed as in when you run your fingers along the word 'ZELDA' they are depressed rather than raised hope this makes sense

It's just a slipcase but the front cover is made of some sort of tissue that feels soft. I bought it off ebay. Most of the items I posted are still heading my way but this one arrived already. The seller has a few more left:

As for the Mirror's Edge Steelbook it was 60 euros with the game included in the separate case and the bonus disc. It was expensive and I hate steelbooks but I thought this was a good investment... And it's a shame I didn't buy this still factory sealed a couple of months ago for almost the same price because I had that chance. I might sell it in the future if it really is worth so much. I can tell you that this steelbook was available very cheap in spain...

I don't think it's cheap, I think it's the right value. I bought it off ebay after seeing those auctions ending between 200 and 500. And I only bought it because of that, I was waiting to find a sealed one but now I see it won't happen. When I saw that auction by eyeballs almost came off and I realized I was so stupid for letting a sealed copy go. Now I'll probably never get a sealed one.

Just picked up the limited edition zelda 3ds...

Anyone know how to open it (the us version) without destroying the box?

It's tough. There is a LOT of glue on those side flaps. I don't know if you got the Zelda edition DS Lite a few years back but the box is glued exactly like that. And once you get it open there's no cardboard latch or anything to close the flap back up, so it will just hang open unless you tape it or something.

Edit: Also, it's meant to be opened on the yellow side, not the side with the warnings all over it. If you open it on the warnings side like I did you have to tear some extra cardboard inside to get the game out.

It's only game in thicker case, nice slipcase with silvery embossed Mass Effect logo and main attraction is beatiful thick tin case with Mass Effect themes. It is very limited and Czech exclusive (Xzone).

Not exactly. I like RPG's the most and especially fantasy ones. I'm not that kind of collector who's buys every single CE, but I buy only from my favourite series or some well looking and quality titles. Of course if find some bargain or really cheap CE which is not my cup of tea cause of genre etc. I definitely take it. This was for example case of Far Cry 2 CE, Alone in the Dark Limited Edition and so on.

Here's to hoping they won't butcher the cover for Tales of Grace F because they find it "too girly".

I have 2 PS3 ones & 1 PC version (CE).

I am a Fallout, Halo, Elder scrolls & Baldur's Gate nut which i will be adding to the correct forum.

I wanted that CE but it was only for xbox 360 and I'm not much of a xbox 360 collector bleh :\. Though it does look really pretty
This game was actually the reason I went out and bought the GoW Xbox 360, haha. There isn't much else I actually wanted on the system. Though now I just randomly buy the 360 version of some games to make it worth the purchase. I even had ToV for the PS3, but well, I did want that special version since I'm a huge "Tales of" fan. I could have just bought it without the console, but I do want to play everything I own.

The statue was much bigger than I expected. Kinda annoyed to be honest as I'm running out of room.

^^ Got it as well yesterday, the statue is of good quality so I was happy about that [I was content with it more so than the Skyrim Dragon statue]. It is larger than I expected as well :lol: I still have one on preorder [PS3] at a JB store elsewhere, but I didn't want to take a chance of missing out due to the delay, so I got one from the only store in Vic that has it [PS3 version].

Another person that loves fallout as much as me, i also have 3 of the collector lunch boxes and one of the brotherhood of steel editions and also game of the year for the Xbox and the PC.

Also have New vegas for Xbox and collector edition sealed for the PS3.

Oh and good work for number 38 of the collector editions as that is the lucky number 38 :)
