Well, this stinks - finally got my AC statue in the mail and it was the worst packing job I've ever seen from Amazon! Statue box has a hole in it and box corner is horribly crushed...

I know that when they had them here in Denmark that was not really a real system.. On McD website it was like 2 figurines each week..
But I also went to different McD in that time.. And not all of them just had those figurines that was suppose to be in that weeks.. So I missed some of them because those that suppose to be in the last week was not at the local McD I went too..

From my experience, Amazon UK shipping overseas is really a hit or miss.

I have received a few items perfectly packaged and not damaged (like te LOZ Guide Box/Chest) and then some items got banged up on the trip (Defiance CE)

I'm sure they will sort you out, they have always come through for me!

The thing is the companies ship things all the same. As in they do not recognize collectables. With most items they can just send you another if there is an issue but with something that is rare and possibly sold out this is not an option and should be treated differently... they just do not.

I would think that Amazon above all other retailers could make that work. They've got algorithms for every item they sell and organize them all based on size (not category). If they flagged an item as requiring some additional packaging they could build that into their algorithms for packaging and it'd be no big deal. (Saw a detailed inside look report at the way they do things the other day, so that's why I say that)

I'm just sad as this is the first "semi-rare" collectible I've purchased from them and it is hands down the WORST packaging I've ever seen from them - the packaging consisted ONLY of one piece of rolled up paper (not even 2 to keep the item from the corners). The funny thing is I got an email yesterday from them about "rate our packaging"... Oh you better believe ill be rating it haha :)

Yep, that's exactly how they take care of half of the international stuff they mess up. It costs them too much to send a return label and send you a replacement :P

Well I like the coloring done in it... not so much that it is glossy.

Reminds me of the OC Chopper show where a girl did this amazing paint job where she would etch flames into the steel of the frame with a dremel and then paint orange into them... looks unreal.

I have never heard of a pre-order bonus with a production number less then most limited edition retail collectables. Not trying to discourage you or anything, but where did the info that there were only 2 made come from?

Yeah it is a matter of opinion I suppose... an expansion is by definition DLC. But it is just a much bigger one.

Also DLC (most of the time... and always should) is priced by amount of content. I know this is not the case sometimes. But expansions for Oblivion were like $20 per but added a good amount of content, compared to other ones that do not add as much but cost half or less then half as much.


Really it can be a crap shoot. I never go for Season Passes anymore, I bought 2 I think and never will again. By the time I went to play them (if at all) I could have gotten a discount anyways.... and some I did not even play (like all of the Borderlands 2 DLC).

Correct on the shorter chain! The chains are actually fixable though so it wasn't broken like I initially thought. The piece is actually missing.

By the way, the pics are of how the figures came in the parcel. No packaging whatsoever, they just dumped the figures into the parcel and sent it.

That is the Japanese Gamecube version of ToS. Came with a memory card. :D Haven't seen one come up with a memory card and the ToS mem card stickers. One was already applied to the mem card. Plus it was a steal at just a little over £20. :D

The art cel was abit more than I expected it to be. :S I paid just a little over $100 for mine. There's a couple on ebay now if you wanted one. :D It's very nice. ^o^ 10" x 12" size individually numbered. :D

Actually the plan was to do 3 games. So only one more that was supposed to be a game with all 4 of them.

If you think about it that makes the most sense as the other 2 horsemen (and horsewomen) are not nearly as popular on their own and their weapons are not well suited for a stand alone game IMO.

Yea man, it's a great find. Owe it to Mathika for finding out how to get this. I don't have the exact measurements but I believe it was posted sometime back. My guess would be 18-19inches to the too of the tomahawk. Just a wild guess

Yea man, it was really expensive but you have to consider that there are literally 2 characters in the statue. There's real quality in the statue too and the details are really nice. But still.. Price isn't for everyone though. I had to sell quite a bit of stuff to get this.

Not sure the number of characters matter really, but the detail is quite stunning (but the bigger the statue the better detail they can do). In any case it is pretty awesome... it is too bad I just hate Connor as a character.

Yeah I saw that one awhile back, the notebook in the PK is really nice soft feeling leather. Also the metal USB has full press assets on it and it is the only one that has popped up so far.
