dont know the survival is the meh of the bunch for me pp nice figure but survival is massive because it has a bit book, thats it

all nice content but it is just putting cool things in a cool box

the ellie and joel editions are really really nice, the way it all fits makes the packaging purposeful

much like far cry 3 with its distressed effect guide in the canvas wrap, its the little things that make it more unique rather than just chucking stuff in a box

The little things are cool, but they're also ultimately just goofy little trinkets at the end of the day. As far as figures go, they are usually pretty shit quality, and they take up so much bloody space and drive the price up. I am very, very against CEs coming with figures lol. For $20 this came with a steelbook (the best thing a CE can include) a huge, hardcover artbook that can be bought separately (so it's not the dinky mini ones that most come with), a digital soundtrack (physical would be better, but at least it's there), and some DLC. This was even in a sturdy box. I don't really know what else I could ask for.

Agreed, totally a matter of taste. As for value, though, this artbook will probably retail for $30-40. This CE was only $20 more for the artbook, steelbook, and DLC, so it was actually a fantastic value. I was actually really 'meh' about the Bioshock CE because it was just a bunch of goofy little trinkets that I will probably never look at again and do me no good. Even the artbook was 'meh' because there is a full sized one available that is larger and has more, so why do I care about a rinky-dink miniature one, you know?

Totally agrre with you Coma...but if you were gonna buy the artbook anyway, the survivor edition was a totally bargain. How much cost the game if you discount ghe artbook price? And you have the steel and the game.

But Joel and Ellie CE are so so beautiful and dramstic at the same time...

I'm trying to compile a kit piecemeal. So far I have one shirt, the standee, and a few pins. It might be a pain to get the rest, especially the box since it's just a generic shipping container. I may not fuzz over the box actually, but it would be nice to have.

Yeah me too! I am not a huge fan of the game (I mean I like it but wont collect for it) but I love standees and had to get one.

That said I find the motion slightly slow and cumbersome compared to uncharted say...

It's sealed and in great shape, but the disc is racing around on the inside.

Does that bother anyone else when that happens?

I stayed clear of the articles, my friend has finished it already (though i doubt he really understood the plot or actually looked at the graphics etc) and assumed that because ive been excited for the game, i finished it as well :( i havent even got my copy yet.

I have a friend that tried to do this but when he starts saying "oh can you believe this happened..." (or something along those lines) I stop him. Or I get loud and do the "blah blah blah I am not listening"... until he gets the point.

Or if he were to send me a message I guess that would be hard to ignore for sure, but there is is still a chance you could stop reading unless he was able to sum up the entire story in one sentence. If so then it would be easy to spoil the game if that were possible for this story. But from what I have heard this story is far too good to be ruined by one spoiler.

I know..but the idiot that packaged the items put all the airbags on one side on the box, so the corners at the other side, in contact with the box arrived totally smashed... Is too difficult to think to put them some in one side and some other airbags in the other side????...fffff...so damn fustrating...

So really really angry today...fffffff....

Love DoDonPachi on my iPhone... love those type of games in general. Also love Espgaluda, Arodius, and Astro Wings on iPhone... there are others that are similar I love as well.

Sine Mora was a great game, love it on my Vita (I know they are different). I want DoDonPachi to come to Vita.

Games like that to me are best at home on a mobile device.

Thanks, man. Also, the regular LE does not come with the steel. It only has the soundtrack and the standard CAVE LE box packaging (as far as I'm aware). So keep that in mind before you make any purchase decisions!

Honestly I think I like the way the CE was packaged in the regular LE better than the super limited as it all seems to fit really nice and neat but the stuff in the super limited looks cooler

That Gears Of War metalpack is truly rare Mag...got two(one for trade...hehe), but It was impossible to get more...

Think it was only released in Spain...and not big quantity...

Managed to get this French steel for around about ?15 on Ebay the other day! Seller also had up the Canadian version which I missed out on and an SSX steel which only went for ?19! Was gutted I didn't try and go in for more on that one.

I bought 3 - they were never going to sit around at that price... Remember everyone being worried if they were genuine, factory sealed English etc etc i thought he'll at that price worth a risk... Already passed one on to another member here and I am sure I still have one for Lyrical :)

I always hate seeing an amazing deal like that and members who only see the found deal a little later often miss out so worth grabbing a couple where possible to pass on

Honestly I can never really tell what small AC promos are/aren't rare truth be told. Rely on lily for that as I'm fairly clueless

Love the ACIII pamphlet though. I guess it was from PAX?

The lithos are nice too

Oblivion surprised me with the vibrant color palette, monument is better in person and I like it now (didn't think I'd like it when I bought it lol)

Although I'm super happy to have those naruto lithos/art cards even though they're probably not that rare

Haha. Europe got more than it's fair share of PSP CEs that NA never got (Like, a lot). Europe also frequently gets more CEs (or better ones) and more steels released than we do, so I don't think you'd really want to trade locations in the long run ;)

Most of the items are only available due to people who received them , reselling them
You cannot go to a shop and buy most of the items
If you want it, pay what you like
If you don't want it

bear in mind last editions are often battered but for the low price its still worth it. The bayonetta guide came back into stock for ?14.99 but it had a lot of shelfware etc - there have been a lot of reductions in CE's at game over last few months
